    It's too bad you couldn't produce some pre-mixed sounds because that sounds pretty solid to me. I do hear the 'clipping' sound, but it sounds intentional.

    D standard. I used drop D for a while, but I'm using chords far more now and prefer the standard positions better. It's also more metal >:]
