    Pretty much just that. Engage and disengage. I don't need the pot anymore, so can I just remove it and switch in a switch?

    I never use my tone knob for anything except the push / pull function to engage the cap. How difficult would it be to replace the pot with a toggle switch? What do I have to look for / look out for ?

    This finally solved it for me. These resistors are obstructed by a support bar and I didn't see the holes on the pcb under it where this fell off. Thank you kindly! Any idea what this white grease is? I want to wipe it off but not if it's important

    Yeah I thought maybe it was a resistor cause it's like holding a construction brick. Very chalky. Never seen one like this before.

    I think it came from behind the 3 band eq. If I can get a picture of a normal pcb I'll know.

    Hey I really need some help. Recently I found a capacitor dislodged in the chassis of my CR and I'm hoping someone can take a few pictures of the inside of their head. Specifically I think it broke off from the eq pcb but I'm not sure. Posted are pics of what I'm dealing with. Thank you !
