Memorial Bass finishing up later this month.

Thanks for the #. This is a memorial bass dedicated to my late wife who passed away on 6/27/20 from a heart attack. Her ashes will be mixed with a resin epoxy and fill in the knot hole on the back, (something that Scott mentioned in the description). Somehow, unfortunately/fortunately everything...

Still hanging around. Keeping up on Tom's builds via F.B. and lurking here occasionally. Not much time spent playing these days due to workload. Still have all 5 Clements staring at me and feeling neglected.

#251 has a stabilized birds eye maple board which I'm guessing is quite similar to dymondwood. Very hard and fast and has held up to stainless steel round wounds. Compared to bloodwood and ebony, it's not as warm/mellow but does give plenty of tone and mwah for fretless boards.

They sound perfect for #195. I like the idea of having the gauge and scale selection.

Here are a few more examples if interested. Piezo only six string hollow Anne with flat tape wounds (now that I figured out how to embed clips). Piezos give quite a another dimension to the sound. Very thorough and very nice recording Mr Walker :bassist:
