I don't understand why you measure from the 12th fret. It's 17 in + 11 5/8 in = 727,075 mm from the nut. or 17 in + 11 3/4 in = 730,25 mm from the nut.

my hi mid is not working, it does not affect the tone at all... I checked the wiring with a multimeter and the connection seems fine. Any idea?

Hi guys, I was thinking about adding a tone pot to my bass. Would this be ok? would it work in passive and active mode? I was also thinking about using a dual concentric Fender 250k pot for VOL+TONE Thanks.

I'm following the given diagram and it does not work. I tried with no preamp and the bass goes fine. How could I test if the preamp is failing? Thanks

Thanks so much Sunbeast. I did not explained myself very well. I already had found the tone pot illustration, anyway I was asking about how to wire in a dual pot the volume and the tone. The kill switch is a good solution, but once again I did not make myself clear. As you suggested the diagrams...

Now... I'm trying to build this Obp-3 for a Jazzbass: -Vol + Tone (dual knob) (better if tone works in active mode too) -Blend -Bass -Mid -Treble -Active/passive switch -Mid freq switch Any wiring diagram for this OBP3 ? Thanks in advance
