Yea they won't go lower than $199.00. I left it there. Don't think I'm going back. I would rather get a brand new vintage modified.

I saw a squier ll made in India p-Bass today, so what's the story on them? Anything valuable about them? It looked good to be so old and dusty. How were the pick ups and electronics? Nothing in the store to try it out plugged in.

I think Fender answered this. If I recall correctly it was determined by the body style. That's what they market. If it has the body not the pick up, it is a p bass with say jazz pick ups, it would still be a pbass.

Look at the link again. It is to a group in Chicago. Plenty of good guys there. Join the group and do some networking. I am looking at taking some lessons in Detroit. Met a guy who may be able to get me in with Ralph Armstrong.
