I've played through one at my local coffee shop. It sounds amazing when I sing and play acoustic guitar through it, but I've played bass a few times for a friends group using a DI to the bose and it just doesn't put out the volume or low frequencies. I'd say use your own setup and mix to taste.

I really like my m13, but I don't think the synths track too well on bass in my opinion. But i really dig everything else, although I dont have an expression pedal yet so I cant really judge how I think the wahs sound.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. When I put this last pot in myself it worked like a charm and was super quiet just like new. I haven't played the bass in awhile and now its cutting out. It may just be my amateur soldering job.

I saw Mogwai just this year and Dom was playing through a standard SVT classic through an 8x10. For what i play with my solo/looping project i'm using a Peavey VB-2. I really think anything can work as long as its flexable. Get something solid state and then you can afford more pedals :)
