Kamni is ok, but all line-up changed, except the guitarist-vocalist who now became bassist-vocalist.
I've left the band few months ago, now I have a new project with first Kamni drummer (who played on both EP's).
I've tried terror bass, it's an ok amp, but my current AD200B sounds much huger...
Thank you for comments, guys! Just A few more questions from me)
beebassdude, WhiteNinja my guitarist plays a JCM 800 clone and a 4x12 cab.
My current rig is Orange AD200b, Orange 4x10 and Orange 1x15 bass cabs. I plan to change head and cabs, want a 8x10. I also use fuzz pedals (Bluebeard...
haha, seems that SVT is a winner. The only problem is it's weight, because I live in Russia and shipping will be super pricey.
That's why I was interested in v4/v4b series, they are lighter and cheaper. Can they be compared to SVT? And do they have enough headroom to sit well in a heavy band...
Well, I've never played an old Ampeg, but I've expected that they will have more punchy overdrive, than Orange.
Also I think about Electric/Green amps, but I'm not sure that they will fit the mix.
The new band is more like traditional doom with oldschool punk and metal elements, than classic...
Hey, guys! Didn't post here for a while. Was busy with my new band.
Seems that I've got tired of my Orange AD200B, so I'm searching for another options and I need your advice.
Things that I don't like about AD200B and want to be fixed in my next amp: more headroom, more heavy midrange punch...
Just to sum it up, I own both Bluebeard and Grey Stache and IMO they are the most badass muffs I've ever played.
I've compared them with many cool muff-based pedals - Supercollider, Musket, Pharaoh, Colossus, Tall font Russian, and also 'cult classic' Green and Black Sovteks.
Finally I kept...
I got a Green Rhino as a birthday present few days ago. Didn't expect much, but I liked it more, than Fuzzrocious Dark Driving or B3K (I tried it with 4003 and jazz bass). 100HZ pot is crucial for tweaking the right sound. The only minor flaw about Rhino is that it has pretty too much compression.
My favorite ones are Bluebeard and Grey Stache. I play doom. There are many other stomp boxes that are, at least, good (Pickle, Tall Font Russian, Assmaster, Supercollider etc), but these two are excellent IMO.
Hello! I need some help from Moog lowpass filter owners :bassist:
I recently got a used Moog lowpass filter and a Moog expression pedal. The problem is - it doesn't make any envelope 'wah-wah like' sounds without expression pedal.
I was sure that the envelope will open without expression...
