So I already have a white MIM Precision. And I only play in the house, so it's probably as much bass as I'll ever need. Therefore I didn't need a new one. Then I see that Guitar Center are knocking out brand new MIA Precisions for just over $900. So I email Zzounds to see if they will price...

I love the new basses. Means they're trying to get rid of the old ones. Enabled me to get a MIA Precision last week from Zzounds for $926 with free shipping. :)

Brand new MIA Fender Jazz basses are $959 at Guitar Center right now when added to your cart. Or do what I did - get a price from Guitar Center, then get Zzounds to price match. I just did it this week - $926 for a new MIA Fender Precision with no sales tax and free shipping.

Just noticed Guitar Center have American P's for $919 if you log in and add it to your cart. Really DIDN'T need to see that. I really don't need one. I never play outside the house and my MIM is realistically all the bass I need. But it's very tempting.

I have a MIM P bass that's great. But I should have bought a new bass on Black Friday. One place online (Moore Music Guitars) had a 25% off coupon for anything, plus free shipping. A new American P Bass would have been $1149 with 25% off, or just under $900. Had one in my cart but didn't pull...

I have a '94 MIM Precision that's great. As people said, there are good and bad ones from every year.
