Not sure what the srms800, but it's probably not 10lbs. You could buy and modify one if you really had your heart set on a multiscale ibby with big singles
Love the bass, at 1k it's a tremendously crafted chunk of wood. I'm not wild about thethe Bar and I'm starting to think maybe I just am not crazy about pickups featuring blades rather than pole pieces. They are smooth in ways that I personally am not crazy about 80% of the time.
Also I just...
Like many of you, I impulse buy things on Sweetwater. Do you think the sale engineer gets commission on stuff I order at 11pm without talking with them? I hope they do. Their customer service is a big motivator for shopping there. Can someone shine light on this?
Long shot maybe, but has anyone here tried putting a nordstrand big single in an ibanez multiscale bass? The complications I'm anticipating are

I'm not sure how to measure or...
Bought an Indonesian hofner violin bass on Sweetwater, scratch and dent for 225, sight unseen. Foolish? Maybe. Excited? Oh yeah. Pointless sh**post? Well, yes.
Itt post your Beatle basses and give your opinions on Beatle basses.
So no real contention about the 'tonewoods' and should buy the prettier one? I like how both of them look a lot though, I was hoping talk bass could convince me that one wood edged out a bass over the other.
My understanding is that the Ibanez 1906 and 1826 have mostly identical specs except the wood: Ash and walnut vs mahagony. They are different colors too. Which do you think is better?
