^ also yup! In the past I have got pedals that do rat style distortion and muff fuzz that are well known for massive bass but I always miss the fuzzrocious character. I'm not going for anymore "wow, check out the bass on this" pedals as it makes it really hard to EQ the chain as a whole.

Man, Wren & Cuff are one of my favourite companies, helped me out with a repair on a second hand Phat Phuk B :) I've had two Phat Phuks, really love that pedal but haven't got room on my board for it, although I *really* want to hear it driving a BB preamp! Still got a TFR just now, so good...

TFR is another one I'd like to try, had the Grey Stache a couple of times, great pedal but not for me.

I'm running a Team Awesome Fuzz Machine after my BB just now. Sold my Bluebeard as it had a noticeable low end drop compared to the BB, went for one with a clean blend and the TAFM was first choice!

Blower Box and VT Bass DI always on, with a B:Assmaster in between to take it up a notch, I think they compliment each other pretty well! *edit* Forgot to answer number 2: Low tuned, heavy rock nonsense.

Oh yeah, as said above, although I really dig my Blower Box at low gain, I also wouldn't describe it as tubey. I also run it with the treble control quite low, but it does still have a kind of "bite" (I'm rubbish at using words to describe sound) which I dig, but reading your comments on the B3K...

Yeah man, it farted out for me a fair bit too. I lent it to the guitarist in my band and it was amazing, if I didn't need the cash I would have just given it to him. I'm in the UK and it was the one and only I've ever seen for sale here, so I think I'm screwed for getting another.

I was too until my Bluebeard went to a new owner yesterday :( I actually noticed a bit of low end loss kicking the Bluebeard on when using the Blower Box always on. I stacked them though and would stomp the Bluebeard to take things up a notch, probably not noticeable using them separately or...

I'm using mine fairly low and always on, loving life! :)
