I Present the IdiotBox Effects's Blower Box

Dammmit!! That place is less then 10 blocks away from where I'm sitting right now!!!

It only opens at 10 though. SO, you have time to go to the bank or get your interac/credit card ready. Get one more coffee. Take a nice 10 block walk there. Go try the pedal with a Mike Lull bass. Maybe try some Bergantino cabs or PJB amps while you are there, they even have Aguilar stuff now... Then, buy the pedal, go across the street, get a smoked meat sandwich as a snack, then go back home or to work... There, easy...

Flawless plan!

I asked this question in another thread but there's not much going on in it, so maybe you guys can give me an opinion:

Does anyone have experience of the BB and a Fulltone Bassdrive? Turns out some of the bass tones I like that I assumed were Rats were actually Bassdrives (early Zozobra, Kowloon Walled City). The Bassdrive is probably the only dirt pedal that grabs my interest but I think the BB at lower gain covers the sound in my head.

Anyone familiar with these sounds? Am I off with them being Rat-like? Any thoughts on how these pedals compare? Caleb Scofield moved on to a Rat Tail so can't be too far off I guess...

The BB is a RAT on steroids. It sounds great at lower gain settings as well. Really, it sounds great on any setting, but I might be a little partial (and I've only had mine a week). I haven't gotten to use it in a band setting yet, so some one else might can give better advice on that.

You all might not know...since I never told anyone about it: 2014 started with me thinking, I wouldn't buy that many pedals this year. Since then I bought (and in some cases returned/sold) a Deluxe Memory Man, a Source Audio Manta, a Darkglass Vintage Deluxe and the Iron Ether Subterranea (granted: I ordered that in November).
And now you've convinced me that I absolutely want to test this against my trusty old Joyo Ultimate Drive for evil distorted tones...

Don't try to hold me back. I already ordered.

I think the BB gets more evil! But my UD is currently loaned to my guitarist...

I went all swapping pedals around crazy last night. It's wild how even fuzzes can be a dog or wicked depending on which one comes first when stacking. Have to get ready for when the Mini arrives!!!
