OK, latency problem identified/fixed...am using TV w/bluetooth speakers as video/audio monitor for MacMini, and TV puts the latency in (vs fast bluetooth iLoud monitor speakers), SO, using MacMini headphone output with no latency.

Well, between getting sticky knobs on old iRig moving again, switching from going thru USB hub to direct to MacMini USB, installing Amplitube 5 on Mac, and switching from recording "mic" in GarageBand to recording "guitar w/optional effects", it now does not clip whether passive or active on...

D'OH!! Took my V7 in for new strings, setup, and NO NEW KNOBS...but to clean up insides and tighten everything up, they open it and D'OH, they broke the preamp...now having to wait for them to see what, short of going back to factory, they can do to fix/replace it. (sigh) :rollno:
