Where to buy a *gasp* fake

Notice how the US doesn't own the internet. The First Amendment doesn't do anything here.

Is this the Best Bass for Metal?

Is it drop E? Two octaves down, that is.

Oh my god Ibanez! Let this be for real!

Jesus that is one ugly bass

Which fretless "starter" bass do you like best?

Well if you normally play a P-bass you should go for the fretless P-bass. You're probably already used to playing a P-bass so you only have to get used to playing without frets.

Have you seen an Epiphone Accu Bass like mine?

I have the original version of that type of Accubass. It's ebony with a black pickguard. The white version also has a black pickguard, so yours was either black or white in a past life. Opinion on a new Bass?

Just get a standard Precision Bass. You really don't need a fancy bass for punk and if you do you probably would want the Mark Hoppus bass with reversed pickups.

Finished up a year-long project yesterday...

How is progressive punk supposed to sound though (since punk is the opposite of progressive)? The lipstick pups look awesome on that bass though.

    I really need help... P or J?

If you want an early Weezer and Green Day sound you're gonna want a p-bass. A lot of other bassists in these types of genres use p-basses. No idea why Matt Sharp would use a jazz bass for this genre.

Do you believe you presently own your 'ultimate bass'?

No. Which is why I'm getting a Bass VI. I play a lot of chords and I don't have very large hands so a Bass VI would be perfect.
