    I think that was original....i believe the first jazz prototypes has soap bar pups....so someone swapped them out....

    I got an early 70's Fender bassman and 4 x 12 diamond cab for $100 in 1987. Had to borrow money from every family member to get it..... Sadly, I sold it because I was moving out of state and my mom didn't want to store it for me....i'm still kicking myself...!

    62 Jazz bass (May), 62 P (Jun), both slabtastic! The jazz is the most incredible playing and sounding bass i've ever played. No wonder Jaco loved the pre CBS jazz's so much.
