Yeah, that's pretty much the vibe I'm getting. After watching some guitar demos on YouTube, I seem to prefer the sound of the Standard over the newer Compact versions. Haven't seen a good bass comparison yet though.

Wow, lots of negativity here regarding new music. I'm genuinely curious as to whether any of you in this camp have at least tried to find modern music that you enjoy instead completely dismissing it entirely after hearing a pop song on the radio. We live in the age of the internet where...

One thing people seem to forget is that there is more music being released now than ever before. If you can't find new music that you like, you clearly aren't trying hard enough :)

I've only scratched the surface with that one, it's still quite a mystery. But I should be able to get some more play time this weekend! Haven't tried it with bass yet.
