Pedal Breeders' BIG Board Club Part III

This Friday is the cramped stage gig where I'll use my mini board, relying primarily on an MS60-B for everything; three levels of dirt, chorus, Octave down, and compression. At the last rehearsal it became evident that while this will work, it pales in comparison to my real gig board.

I look forward to seeing how my new Future Impact, incoming Transboost and Dunwich Fuzz Throne might fit into the gig board. I still haven't found the time to get a proper midi interface so I can deep dive the FI.

Can be had as a PCB & CHIP...

...Or as a complete kit with a case, of sorts.

It was originally one of those schlick-idea business-card PCBs handed out at some convention.
The sequence keys double as a mini-keyboard.

Would be great for my Jawtari Phunk Consoul.

Or hacking it into some crazed Zvex-like phaser-wah thingymabobbie.

Small enough to squeeze in next to another circuit board, the sequencing buttons could be kept the same size, but the stop, run, pause and maybe a couple other buttons could be made stompers for foot control. Fire this sucker up between songs to keep yourself and audience entertained, hopefully annoy fellow band-members (*but not too much, a band that plays together stays together... or ... something like that).

I came across the 16-step Business Card just now after ordering today a previously discovered business-card-slash-distortion-pedal build.

Ballou's business card seemed to be "out of stock" forever, but suddenly was available again after a perf-board layout became available a week ago. Or at least, the perf layout made me check for the PCB's availability again. I prefer PCBs to vero/perf, so snapped it up. There are some cool suggested mods for it, and I'm going to add a mod or two of my own. Time permitting. When the stars align and the Universe is in agreement. Right after I finish up the Jawtari Phunk Consoul...

Thanks to a fellow Breeder, I even have those requisite knobs now. :woot:

More PCBs, just what I need to finish tiling the bathroom...
Sorry Santa, if this was one of my stocking stuffers, I couldn't resist.

I guess nowadays you're a nobody if you don't have a business card that's a USB-storage device, or PCB-build, Edible candy, Sponge-monster-just-add-water, or ... SOMETHING! — it's gotta do double-duty...

Just plain ol' "bone" with Silian Rail lettering, "Eggshell" with Romalian type, or even fancy embossed lettering on pale nimbus white with a watermark...

Well, they just won't do anymore...

What's your business card?

:eyebrow:

Me, “ok guys Higher Ground goes like this.”
*plays the bass part to Higher Ground

Rest of band, “....”
Me, “none of you practiced this song did you?”
Rest of band, “I’ve never played a funk song and that song is pretty hard”

Fire the drummer, post a passive aggressive thread in Band Management.

This is how it's going to go for you pretty much any time Stevie Wonder is suggested for quite some time. Also, most guitarists are trash at actually learning the stuff at home.
