    Fair enough, the micro bass amps by GK are also worth a look if you dont need 200w. Dont be fooled by the 100w though, they are loud as you like!

    Recommend a pedal

    Use the channel B on the backline 600 head. play around with the dials and you can a nice subtle growl through to a very distorted sound.

    Voodoo Lab Analog Chrous. Not made for bass but i use it the whole time and it sounds great. Not sure if they are being made new anymore but you should be able to pick one up second hand.

    which pedal power adapter?

    I can vouge for the DC Brick, it is solid and has never let me down. 7 x 9v outputs and 3 x 18v. Does exactly what i want and keeps my pedals singing all day long. Very good price too, got mine for 95GBP. Dont have any experience with any of the others

    I dont have particular knowledge of this case but i have a gallien krueger case for the backline 600 and it is very sturdy and well made. I feel very happy with my BL600 being safe inside it and would reccomend an equivalent for other heads.

    Had my hellraiser 5 for a few years, it has an awsome sound. I play a lot of metal and it is a complete beast, 5th string makes a huge difference! Solid build quality, i just love this bass!
