Having trouble cancelling Scott's Bass Lessons

Me too. That’s the reason I decided to not continue after free trial.

Having trouble cancelling Scott's Bass Lessons

I just sent an email cancelling my subscription and hope they won’t charge anything on my debit card. I guess B2B spoiled me. No senseless jibber jabber and a pleasure to do the lessons. UPDATE: I checked email and my cancellation was acknowledged, so that was painless. It was fast too.

Having trouble cancelling Scott's Bass Lessons

I’m doing the free trial. To me the site is confusing. After Bass 101 where does one go. There is no chronological order. I am getting more aggravated than enjoying and I can’t see paying for something that I have to stress over.

Pieces of music that absolutely stunned you.

Other than Mozart’s Requiem, I love and was blown away by Mozart’s Mass in C Minor. I get goosebumps thinking of the music and the choir.

Fender Special Edition Deluxe PJ Bass Sea Foam Pearl

I know this is an old post, but I just tried this bass at GC. Not many customers there today. I thought good for me. I’ll get help. Anyway, after playing it for a while, I decided hell, no. My left-hand palm by the index finger is killing me. The sharp edges are insanely too uncomfortable...

Am I too old to get started in this?

I just started out in May of this year. I’m 61 and I wish I started when I was as young as you are. I’m doing the Bass to Badass lessons. I also go to YT and learn songs by following tabs. So far I’ve learned seven songs. I just started Sir Duke, which is the hardest one thus far, but I’m...

Artists you respect, but don't enjoy listening to

This isn’t bad, but when she starts to sing, time for me to turn off. Not my cup of tea. I wish she would just play bass with her band.

Artists you respect, but don't enjoy listening to

Esperanza Spalding. I have a couple of her albums and love her playing certain songs, but, my lord, I can’t listen to any of it for more than ten minutes.

Be honest, how many of you

I love listening to her. And yes, I can listen to her for an hour with no problem. I also like to listen to Esperanza Spalding, but as soon as she starts singing that dubie wabba dubie BS, it’s time to go.

    Fender Rumble Club

Great news. I too have good health news. MRI shows no cancer. It has been two years since operation. Other than after effects, I’m as healthy as a 30 year old. If you’re able, try incorporating rope jumping into your day. It’s better than treadmill or jogging. You’ll lose weight and...

    Where to start?

Just ordered the book through Amazon. Thanks for the recommendation.

    Where to start?

Yes. I’ve been a court reporter since 1984. We learned the keyboard by muscle memory and we increased speed throughout the years, so I understand and concur with what you’re saying. So I plan on taking a similar approach to the way I learned how to write. When we hear a word, our fingers...

    Where to start?

Everyone’s response was useful and exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t just want to figure out songs I like, but rather the theory and fundamentals do playing the bass so that I won’t have to go back next year and practice what I should have in the first place. I’m stoked that I found...

    Where to start?

Right. Certainly that was what I was thinking, learn theory. While I have watched videos on some of my favorite songs on YT, following the tabs isn’t that easy for me. I don’t want to get into any bad habits so I’ll start with the fundamentals.
