    Interviewing bassist stories

This really sounds like Flea to me. Being a total goof to cheer someone up, and just being real chill about the whole thing

    El Grande bass fuzz question

I know that MXR claims that they have a 70's fuzz circuit in the pedal, so maybe that is what's messing it up.

    Right hand

I do it allot when I know that I'm just gonna be using the D and G for a while. If I know there's an extended time when I don't use E and A, I'll move. In the end, just do what works for you. If it's more comfortable not to move your thumb, you don't have to. It's just a suggestion. If you...

How to get a progressive rock sound?

Geddy Lee, Chris Squire. Listen to how the bass parts interact with the music. You'll pick up on what they're doing if you listen and play them enough. Of course, there are a bunch of guys to choose from, but those two are as good as they get.

    Bands Where Everyone Sings

I've never seen Michael, Joey, or Troy do lead either. Or Dave from the older lineup. Well obviously he sings in Foo Fighters, but I don't think I saw him sing at all in Queens. Josh, Nick, and Mark all did when they were in the band, but I don't remember anyone else doing it, and I think...

    SVT7PRO carrying options-rack, bag, other??

I'd check this page, and find something with cubed foam in the appropriate dimensions. Mil Std Waterproof - at SKB Shipping, Transport & Equipment Cases The problem with a luggage case (IMO) is that it won't securely hold the head. You don't want it flopping around in there. That's why the...

    SVT7PRO carrying options-rack, bag, other??

I've got an SKB military case for my 4-pro, and it works pretty good. Look for one with a cubed foam interior, and make sure you have a few inches on each side to give you more padding. Then just adjust the foam to the head, and your set. At least it worked for me :)

    Ampeg SVT 4-Pro road case?

OK thanks. I've really not wanted to drop the cash that a custom case would require. If I need to, I'll find a way to drop the cash, but man that's not going to be cheap... I looked at racksandmore.com, and that looks like a decent option, and I'll surely consider it if I can't find something...

    Ampeg SVT 4-Pro road case?

I've got an SVT-4 Pro, and it's a really great head. I love it. However, I'm looking for a good flight case to transport it in. I'd really prefer not to permanently rack mount it, I'd just like a case that I can put it in for transport, then be able to take it out to use it for practices, gigs...
