If you could have TWO and ONLY TWO basses..

I totally agree. Whip out the Jazz when you need to cut through and pull out the P-bass when you need to really lay down the low end.

    have cars become more gutless?

I hate the new fat bulky look of newer cars. The new Camaro really didnt do anything for me, it just sit up to high and way to fat looking. Im not downing them cause they can make some power but I just dont dig the body style of them and some of the other newer cars. Older cars may not have...

Looking for a VERY Versatile Bass + Fretless Questions

I would just get a regular fretted 6 string bass. They are already pretty versatile. Or if you really have to have a fretless try one out like others have said. I agree with the Squier "Jaco" fretless that thing is amazing for $300 bucks.

How long were you smoking cigarettes before it impacted your health ?

I have been smoking for 7 years and after about the first year I could feel it in my lungs. Especially if I did anything active like jogging. What I hate though is waking up in the morning and dealing with the phlegm.

    GHS Brite Flats Stiffness

Last night I messed with the bass some more and the strings feel alot less stiff than before. I believe I just didnt give them enough time to break in or its just a mental thing. The fender rounds that were on the bass before were pretty old and floppy. I definately love how smooth these...

    GHS Brite Flats Stiffness

I bought a set of GHS Medium Light Brite Flats to replace the stock strings on my Squier P-bass. I really like the feel and sound of these half round strings. The problem I am having is that they are a little too stiff especially in standard tuning. For the past day I have been playing in Eb...

    why with the hating?

Nah I never lived with any of them. Alot of them were just spoiled selfish girls. They were just out to get what they could from me. Once I realized that I was gone haha.

    why with the hating?

lol Some people settle for a Kia and other's work there asses off for a Mercedes. Its your money and what you enjoy. GF's in the past used to give me hell if I bought a new bass, it didnt even matter how much it was. I guess they just hatin cause that money wont going in there pocket instead.

    Back and forth?

Haha I have the same problem all the time when it comes to ordering. Theres way too many nice basses out there. I will say though, I ordered a Spector performer a few years back from ebay. It maybe one of Spector's lower end basses but that thing could thump like hell and the neck felt like...
