    I know they have different outputs but the apmeg 800 has no where near the grunt of my Quilter or my departed Mesa, played all three through the same cab. I never dime anything, that's not a real world example

    the last ampeg head I had was noticeably quieter than other heads, I don't mind if this combo isn't balls out, just want it to sound good

    The Roadworn Jazz came to me like this. The Musicmaster with Jack Casady guys is phenomenal The Darkstar with a mid ‘80s MIJ Jazz neck is incredible And I built the green bass to honor Dad. Buncha cool parts added up to make a great bass
