Ampeg Rocket Bass Combos

Yeah I didn't have a good feeling on my shipping, Amazon's ship time has gone downhill the last few months (COVID related I'm sure). Just ordered a Rumble 800 head so ill pair that with a 410 cab and a sansamp to get a bunch of tones.
Decided I couldn’t wait for the 210 and picked up the 110 today. The tone is spot on to what I was looking for. It seems noticeably quieter than my Rumble 40 though.
Interesting. The RB-110 is rated at 50 watts, so you'd think it would be about the same as the Rumble 40. Maybe even a little louder, but not quieter.
the last ampeg head I had was noticeably quieter than other heads, I don't mind if this combo isn't balls out, just want it to sound good
Both, with and without headphones too. It’s not a huge difference and but still noticeable to me. Not complaining since it’s just my practice amp when I’m alone in my living room.
With the tone I’m getting I’ll definitely be buying the 210 too when it comes out.
I know they have different outputs but the apmeg 800 has no where near the grunt of my Quilter or my departed Mesa, played all three through the same cab. I never dime anything, that's not a real world example

I'm kind of bummed, after hearing the RB-112 demo I thought what the heck I'll go for that, but it's only 50 watts, the RB-115 is 100 watts.
The RB-112 is 100 watts. It does not have an extension speaker jack so all 100 go to the internal speaker. The RB-115 is 200 watts if you have an 8 ohm extension speaker attached.
I just looked at the manual on Ampegs site and I read the info wrong, thank you for the clarification.
Well now this is going to be a tough decision between the RB-112 & RB-115!!!!
I’ll help you in the case you’re like me at all. I spent all afternoon deciding between the 112 and 115, and decided to go with the twelve.
Here’s my reasons: 1) unless you’re gonna schlep a second cab, you’ll most likely use the 115 with the same power as the 112. 2) I plan on using it to record with and in a smaller room the 12 will sound better; at least those I’ve owned does compared to a 15. Otherwise, for recording, they’re identical.
3) for rehearsals and small gigs I think it’ll be perfect to blend in with an acoustic trio. The 115 will do fine, but many thought the 12 was the best combo in the V1 BA-series. 4) this may be just me, but I’ve got larger gigging amps/cabs that’ll handle larger venues, and the 112 can take care of the rest.

I was at a Sam Ash in Orlando today with a friend of mine. They had a 108 in there. So for grins I wanted to check it out since I hadn't seen another yet.
Holy Cow! Not only did it sound great but it seemed to have far move volume than one would expect from a single 8 with 30 Watts. It darn near came home with me.

Great point. I gave the v2 of the BA-108 and while it’s not a giant killer with a 20-watt 8” speaker, it certainly gives a smaller practice room all it can handle and do it sounding very good.
