Other than moving, or the grass is greener, the main reason I quit a band is the principal or band leader takes themselves too seriously, and doesn’t take the music seriously. Let’s face it, doing parodies of someone else’s great song is just stupid.

There is probably no way for a humble bass cabinet owner to determine from the manufacturer a possible replacement speaker for a cabinet with an apparent blown speaker. The challenge seems overwhelming to this novice, but I’m trying to learn. Fender does not list the technical design parameters...

Giving everyone an update from this green bass player. I took the amp and head to Momar Music in San Antonio, and at first he agreed it seemed like a blown speaker, which sounded like the 15” speaker was blowing its nose, but switching output to another speaker, it sounded awful there as well...

...so, if this amp is rated 500, and I have one cab with a speaker rated at 225, does that leave room for another cab at 225.

That’s got a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder in the center console...haha. The body is a couple of cherry floor boards from my step-father’s barn sandwiched together by my brother. Sort of a “two-piece mono-kini” if you get my drift. Used my Mexican Telecaster as a template. Finished it myself...
