I realise this is a weeks old post but I have a question on your MBD-1s. I bought one back in 2017 with the yellow MBD-1 logo. I regretfully sold it when I bought an MBD-2 and since repurchased an MBD-1 but with white logo. To my ears this is a cosmetic change, but I’m curious of your opinion...

This is a lightbulb moment and so obvious. I’ve always had the MBD at the end of the chain as that’s where I put it 7 years ago and it never occurred to me to do different. I know what I’m doing tonight.

Honestly, never tried it. I use it on guitar tuned to G# standard and it’s beefy yet clear. Really easy to dial in.

Yes it did. Extremely useful pedal that I kick on to get instant tone change. I didn’t really understand what it did at first but quickly found a way to make it work at certain times. Really like it.

Killer pedals. Jeff has been sending them to me all over the world for nearly 10 years, from UK to Cambodia and the US. And the new stuff you’re doing is next level. Totally changed my view on bass distortion and EQ.

Welcome back to the family, MBD-1. When I bought the MBD-2 I sold my beloved -1 to a friend who (understandably) wouldn’t sell it back. Finally found a near mint version. The world can now return to spinning on its correct axis.

I would agree with this. I find myself tweaking between the different pedals. If it’s a drastic adjustment, then it’s unlikely to be the right fit. I never thought I’d need to have more than one Dirtfixer just whether I use the BLOOP or DF, but then again, I rarely have more than 5 pedals in...

Short answer is yes. But that’s, to me, to be expected, as I had the same consideration when using the BLOOP. So in the end I tend to use pedals that need similar “fixing” or minor tweaks from the others in the loop, and if the adjustment is too extreme, I move on.
