Ashmaker is really nothing like an MBD3. Completely different architecture and concept. This is just a MBD with more stuff optimized for my rig.

I realise this is a weeks old post but I have a question on your MBD-1s. I bought one back in 2017 with the yellow MBD-1 logo. I regretfully sold it when I bought an MBD-2 and since repurchased an MBD-1 but with white logo.
To my ears this is a cosmetic change, but I’m curious of your opinion: do you hear any tonal difference and any idea when the white logo came into production?
(Also an open question to our fine DA folks in Baltimore.)

There are some differences between the yellow and white MBD-1s.
The yellow has no internal trimpot to adjust input gain and is fixed. The white one does.
Both have the trimpot for clean bias.
Not sure if it's how the bias is set on the clean or not, but the yellow -1 distorts a bit on the clean side if I use a high output bass.
I've adjusted the input gain on the white -1, to match the yellow.
Side-by-side, I doubt anyone could hear a difference.

I'm looking to pickup a Damnation pedal. There's a MDB2 for a good price in the TB classifieds and there's a MDB3 on Reverb for a really good price also. I've also been looking at the Bass Power Distorter. I'd mainly be using the pedal for mid to higher gain. I'm wondering what might be the best way to go between these 3 pedals. The blend really doesn't matter to me as I'm not into using a clean blend.

If you're not using the clean, the biggest difference is having a variable boost on the second foot switch of the 3. The 3 also has the tilt/tone set at 600hz, vs the switchable 600/300hz on the 2.
To be honest, I think the clean blend is an integral part in what makes the MBD such a great dirt pedal. If you haven't tried one yourself, I would go as far as saying it's ill-advised to buy on the assumption that you don't want/need the clean blend. It completely opens up the tonal possibilities and varieties of the dirty side.
If you're sticking to your guns on your no-clean-blend approach, then I would just decide what you want more - the boost on a footswitch for the ability to kick in some extra drive (MBD3) or the 300/600 Hz mid-shift toggle on the MBD2.
Purely my personal take as someone who uses the Bloop and an MBD-2 on my board - I like the older clean blend (MBD1, MBD2, and Bloop) better than the new 'contoured' clean on the MBD3 and Dirt Fixer. I run my MBD2 mostly on the 600 Hz 'mode', but I would want the 300 Hz mode if I were not utilizing the clean side at all. On that note, that's kind of the point in terms of how critical the clean blend is on these pedals. If you use the tone knob anywhere past noon or 1:00, you'll miss the lows that fall off due to the tilt-eq. Unless you're going for a more grindy thin sound with the lows/low-mids neuteredf, the 'right side' of the tone knob will become kind of useless without the cleans.
Honestly, IMO, yes, there is a difference between the 2 and 3. I much prefer the 1 or 3. If I were you, I'd go 3 all day. The 3 is more versatile and has the second switch for the boost. The 2 is cool. But I've always preferred the 1 and or 3. Never fully gelled with the 2

If it were a switchable option on the 3, the 3 would've been the "ultimate" version of the MBD for me .
I hadn't even considered the 3 with the old blend. That would be my everything...

I envy you. I have never experienced somebody telling me he had an erection because of my bass tone. Just wow!
