Just get the Squier guard from Fender. $24.99. I paid GC a little under $30 with shipping and taxes. Sure beats $59.00 and it looks great. See page 4 (maybe 5), I disremember.

Talking is futile, I used to fire everybody (even if it wasn't my band), wait a couple of weeks then call the ones I wanted to play with and tell them I was starting a band and asked if they wanted in, it worked every time. Ultimately I ended up with one of the best, if not the best, band in town.

Here is one with a strap I found on Franklin Straps web site, it's under the cotton cinch series. I like the saddle blanket look.

If #88 is still available I'd love to have it. That was the number on my brother's race car. I recently bought a Sonic Blue CV Pbass, pitched the white guard and bought the Squier tortoise guard from Fender. Wow, what a beautiful instrument! I'll try to post a photo or two in the next week.
