I don't think new pups are a must. The CVP sounds every bit like the American P hanging next to it at the store.
Every time I see the Red CV P's, it reminds me of a poor-man's Pino P-bass

Just got mine today. Fiesta Red, Shaller Straplocks, Gator soft case.
I don't even want to say what I paid for it.........![]()
If #88 is still available I'd love to have it. That was the number on my brother's race car.
I recently bought a Sonic Blue CV Pbass, pitched the white guard and bought the Squier tortoise guard from Fender. Wow, what a beautiful instrument! I'll try to post a photo or two in the next week.
Sorry, Forgot the porn ruleSorry for the fingerprints.
Very nice, congrats! I'm thinking of picking up a Fiesta Red one just so I'll have both colors.![]()
Thanks for number #88, it's a sentimental number for me. I'll get some photos up in a couple of days. Not sure I know how to do that though.
Try This.

Thanks, They're already on my computer, I'm just not sure how to get them onto this thread. Well, I guess I figured it out. The white guard was alright, but I like the tortoise better!
Fiesta Red is THE most difficult color to photograph!!!
