questions for 50s cv pbass owners: do you feel the need to replace the stock single coil? is this bass the answer for those who can't afford the Sting model?
how does the 50s cv pbass compare to other inexpensive pbass copies, namely the turser 401? I have a 401 & it's goodness but not greatness. I had to drop in a Duncan scpb2 & replaced a brass bridge but still not in love.
With the CV 50s and its original PU I found MY sound at last. It's more modern than the Sting I would say. I leave the PU where it is![]()
