    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

I just tried a NAM v2 model, and am I right that there are fewer tweakable parameters vs. v1?

Modern flat neck basses require constant truss rod adjustments?

Thanks for everyone's responses. It looks like it's turned into a decent thread, and I've gotten a better idea of what's going on with my bass from it.

Modern flat neck basses require constant truss rod adjustments?

The neck is pretty crazy. The Ibanez site lists it as "the Atlas 15pc Panga Panga, Maple, Padauk, Purpleheart and Walnut neck."

Modern flat neck basses require constant truss rod adjustments?

Hi, everyone. I played bass back in the 80s/90s and just got back into it 2 years back. I'm used to set-it-up-once-and-forget-it on necks like baseball bats. I even had a $400 80s Peavey that I only set up once and played it for 10 years+, unscrewed the neck for suitcase travel, and so on and...

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

500 gave an unsuitable output so I did 2,000 next. It might've plateaued at 800, who knows.

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

One reason I went with the Anagram was the NAM capability. I busted my ass building a tone for a full year in a complex VST chain, which necessitated bringing my notebook and audio interface everywhere. I wanted to drop all that gear. My first run, the model captured only about 91% of the...

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

How has the third-party response been to developing for the Anagram at the NAMM booth and elsewhere? Tepid? cold? warm? hot? supernova?

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Heads-up for anyone looking to order the Darkglass Anagram. Numerous reliable sellers in Japan have it in stock, and because of the weak yen, it sells for about $230 less. Some accept PayPal/PayPal Credit. You still have to pay shipping but that can also be done more cheaply through a proxy...

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

I hope at some point they make the warning optional. I use 3 NAM blocks across a bunch of presets so that I have a choice of amp models switched via the footswitches and it comes up all the time.

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Latest firmware introduced a bug for me. Occasionally I can't add blocks - I hit the "+", choose the block, and it's still a "+". Rebooting the unit fixes it.

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Could anyone point me in the direction on the Anagram for a thumpy bass tone that's all low-end, like used in Englishman in New York or reggae? Thanks!

Tokyo: Anyone know a trustworthy bass setup shop?

Most of my experiences in Tokyo have been negative, so I'm looking for advice! I'd love to get an hour with a tech (no real budget concern, Japanese language is fine) to work through getting my electric bass set up exactly how I need it for my style of play. TIA!

    Darkglass Anagram Multi FX Announced

Loving my Anagram. I came from the VST world, and a NAM I trained at 2,000 epochs got epic close to the tone I shaped over a year. I'm waiting with bated breath for every update to see what new cool stuff there is. I suppose parameter automation is not in the pipeline and that I should...
