I know this is an old post, but Margaret is non-binary (from what I've gathered) and prefers to be called a male. A japanese rock magazine BURRN made a correction on twitter, citing:

The quote came up pretty reasonable so, now to save up some money. I might change it up to a 7 string before I get the money gathered but we'll see.
I can't pull my eyes out of this thread, so many beautiful basses everywhere
That does seem a bit more forward than I've seen on other paddocks. Been googling for other paddock 6's and they seem to have them a tad more back than you have, but I wouldn't mind them being in those positions myself.
For looks. And I rock a very sturdy bottom string that'd have a hard time fitting through one of those just-behind-the-nut headpieces. With some extra length it tapers enough to go into these headpieces.
Man looking at this thread makes me thirsty for a Maru bass.
Threw together a mockup for Adrian about an idea I had; a Paddock headless with a Cazpar headstock. The strings would lock in to single headpieces located in your usual tuner holes so you have the look of a more conventional bass...
Would've liked something a bit more constructive but that's ok.
Just mailed Adrian and he said there would be a possibility next year, we'll see what happens.
Thinking of ordering a custom Paddock headless in 7 string and multiscale, does anyone have a multiscale that's over the 35" scale? I'd love one in 37"-34" as it would help with the low tuning our band has immensely.
