From what everyone has been saying, I'm getting the general idea that it's a straight up scam. Thankfully, I contacted the lead guitarist and was quickly rewarded when he felt the same way. Especially when they're not returning phone calls, emails, and generally being as vague as possible...

Update: From what I'm hearing from my band mates, it's that the festival is giving us 50 tickets, no charge to us. But we have to sell at least 30 to play. Wasn't sure if this is or isn't a scam or if they just want to make sure we can draw some sort of a crowd.
