where did your band name come from?

George Harrison once referred to Elvis's career after coming back from the service as a living death.
So, A Living Death it is...
which is cool with me since, it works on a few levels were all fond of.
I was pushing for, An Extant Ruin which essentially means the same thing but we all decided the name A Living Death worked, becuase it represented what we as humans are indefinitely part of...oh and we're all fans of Zombies as well!!

Well I wasn't in the band at the time but this is how I'm told it happened.
The rhythm Guitard's cousin/sister(I forget which) is currently planning her wedding to her girlfriend, and their Lesbian Wedding was born, now if only the lead Guitard would like the name.

we got our band name off the back of a packet of tablets!
we were lookin all round our drummers kitchen for "inspiration" as it were, and he picked up some paracetamol and read "Consult Your Doctor" off the back (as in "if you have any symptoms or side effects please consult your doctor"). we didnt think of anything else, so it stuck =]
better than having "The .........." like seemingly every band in the UK at the minute! (ok i know thats an exaggeration but im just making a point
)!

)!oh I'm so hurt, I joined another musicians umm forum if you want to call it that. it seems more like an asylum of 12 yr olds but theres some good info in some sections. Someone posted a comment about Warcraft servers being down and I said I used to be addicted to the game hence the band name
someone replies and says "your band name is teh ghey" I figure it was from some kid and I click on the sig for his band and the dude had to be in his 40's. the biggest fail is that his band is named "Dixie Normous", you shouldnt make comments about "teh ghey" when your own band is named after the male anatomy
