My main band is Jam Theory, I came up with this while talking to someone about the idea behind it(just jamming, no pre-writing of songs, just pure improv). He said "oh so I bet you guys rely allot on theory" I said "well I don't have any knowledge of theory so I all I have is a jam theory to just play and listen" and something just clicked and our name was born one of My other bands is Blues Messiah, that one came from the founder being somewhat "religious" back in the early nineties when it started and playing blues rock. and the last semi serious band is The Laggers and we came up with that because thats what we do

after looking through the band logo post, I have to wonder where your band names originated.

ours is pretty simple, I was addicted to World of Warcrack for awhile and Cloak of Shadows is one of the Rogues abilities.
someone on another forum was looking for band names and i listed a bunch of stuff and this one stuck out to me so I kept it for our band. I'll probably get sued by Blizzard games for some kinda copywrite violation

I've been playing with a Classic Rock Band called "Overdrive" on an offor a few years. We dumped the lead player and have gone through numerous drummers, so last summer we decided to rename the band. I came up with Abrupt Edge. Anyone from Oregon has seen this road sign when they are working on roads, instead of Soft Shoulder, or Right Lane Closed, Oregon puts up a sign that says Abrupt Edge. I always thought that was a good name for a band.

I wrote and recorded a song called "Angel with a Crooked Halo" about 13 years ago! LOL
