Yep! Fender produced P basses from the factory with the following nut widths: A neck - 1.5" B neck - 1.625" C neck - 1.75" :cool:

I love P basses with J necks (1.5" nut width, which is what an "A" neck is). My P bass has a J neck, and I wouldn't have it any other way! :cool:
