Ahh! I see now there is a tiny screw in the knob which will facilitate removal of the brass sleeve.

Hello, I bought a replacement tone knob for a Lakland Skyline bass. It has an "added brass sleeve" which needs removing before I can put it on. It's in there pretty snug. I tried to use a screwdriver to remove but it's not working. Does anyone have any tips for removal? Thanks!

Yeah. You're right, I'm hearing those snare hits on the "ands." But when I hear it your way I hear it on the 2 and 4. I'm not sure which is correct but I hear what you're saying.

agree with kesslari. I count the bass as coming in on the "and" before 4. (So yeah, 3&, like you said). "1 ee and a 2 ee and a 3 ee and a 4 ee and a" The bass at the top of the song comes in on the "and" before 4. And the drums come in on the "and" before 4 also. Great song, great thread.

I think I got spoiled by that Ultra neck. Pretty sure I shouldn't have let that one go. live and learn.
