In my opinion, OP crosses from sad and lonely to creepy stalker with, “Canadian privacy laws are a b-tch.”

Also, dude is capable of using the Internet to communicate with strangers, so I don’t see why he can’t find friends/love connections on websites that are specifically tailored to that purpose, as opposed to reaching out to others to track down an individual who has made it very clear they don’t want the contact.
