I think I did this once, on a breadboard - with one of the older SA pedals; and I see no reason why it wouldn't work. Can you post schematics, pictures of your build - anything? I have a good idea about how things are supposed to look. do you have a multi-meter at hand?

The Source Audio BEF pro can also do this too, both with phasers and filters. With a MIDI interface you can even program the "steps" yourself, or use random steps.

Can I, out of academic curiosity, ask what kind of pitch-detection you are going for? FFT? Adaptive schmitt trigger, like the OC2? A combination or perhaps something third? I fully understand if this is a trade secret though. And good luck with the project :)

I know how to make it work with the HH input on the SB1 and PRO pedals - emulating the hot hand (the old wired hot hand at least is just a 0-3.3v CV generator). You'd need to setup the pot as a voltage divider. the four poles on the old HH was GND, 3.3v, x-axis, y-axis. Not in that order though...

That depends a lot on the circuitry, and your definition of "easy"... If it's true-bypass, I'd say no - not unless you consider building a custom relay-based looper, for switching the chain and pedal on/off. If that's "easy" to you then it is easy...

Sound very nice. I think I saw something similar in an old pdf on hobby electronics at some point.

Maybe it's doing the same with the bass, but it's so low in frequencies, or your bass masks it so that you don't hear it? Same amp, different amp? I can try to reproduce it with my Oc-2 later today
