question for all the electronics folks out there..

Nope. As the output of the ds-1 is in phase with the input (roughly) you will just create a feedback loop. You will either need to construct an external mixer (like the Ls-2, but could be simpler) or; You can short the two legs of Q2 that connects to R13 and R14. When engaged this will mix in...

Let's solve this! Source Audio expression options

Ah yes I did that too, and added a stereo pot, 10K so I can use it with my Line6 and SA pedals at the same time. the 13$ is that for the cable? you should be able to reuse the parts - if that's a problem I can probably find you a place to pickup 4-wire small jacks cheaper. If you can wait for...

Let's solve this! Source Audio expression options

Diagram looks good to me, can you show how you've wired it? can you verify with a multimeter that you made the correct connections? If you position the expression pedal in the middle you should be able to make the following measurements: (places to check will be named tip, ring1 ring2, sleeve...

Let's solve this! Source Audio expression options

I think I did this once, on a breadboard - with one of the older SA pedals; and I see no reason why it wouldn't work. Can you post schematics, pictures of your build - anything? I have a good idea about how things are supposed to look. do you have a multi-meter at hand?

Step/Stage/Sample&Hold Effect in compact pedal form?

    Ah missed that xD

Step/Stage/Sample&Hold Effect in compact pedal form?

The Source Audio BEF pro can also do this too, both with phasers and filters. With a MIDI interface you can even program the "steps" yourself, or use random steps.

    Source Audio Synth Pedal

Can I, out of academic curiosity, ask what kind of pitch-detection you are going for? FFT? Adaptive schmitt trigger, like the OC2? A combination or perhaps something third? I fully understand if this is a trade secret though. And good luck with the project :)

    Nathan Navarro pedal board

Shoud be accurate now. Would have loved to take a peek at the SB2 BEF though

Oh my god I think I found my new favourite octave pedal

I'm quite surprised that the OC-07 and OC-2 has a different sound on the -1 octave, as they - according to the service schematic - are identical in the -1 and -2 section (they use different germanium diodes, but both germ.). The OC-07 looks to have some more gain on tab though. The OC-07 does...

Making a Moog EP-2 work with a SA Dimension Reverb?

I know how to make it work with the HH input on the SB1 and PRO pedals - emulating the hot hand (the old wired hot hand at least is just a 0-3.3v CV generator). You'd need to setup the pot as a voltage divider. the four poles on the old HH was GND, 3.3v, x-axis, y-axis. Not in that order though...

    OC-2 Serial Database

The analysis is coming along, but I've been really busy this week and I have to clean up the apartment today... Maybe I will get time to finish it tomorrow - or when I'm done cleaning.

    Built in FX loop mod??

That depends a lot on the circuitry, and your definition of "easy"... If it's true-bypass, I'd say no - not unless you consider building a custom relay-based looper, for switching the chain and pedal on/off. If that's "easy" to you then it is easy...

    Hype: Subdecay Vitruvian Mod

Sound very nice. I think I saw something similar in an old pdf on hobby electronics at some point.

OC-2 ghost effect on guitar but not bass

Maybe it's doing the same with the bass, but it's so low in frequencies, or your bass masks it so that you don't hear it? Same amp, different amp? I can try to reproduce it with my Oc-2 later today

    OC-2 Serial Database

I am halfway with the pictures for the explanation of the circuit :)
