    Tweeter a sin?

I'm one of those guys. I'm not THE guy, but I'm totally the guy who the OP is talking about. It CAUSES PROBLEMS but it's just who I am and how I express myself. I'm extreme, passionate and way over the top. Put a little booze in me and watch out, cuz it doubles. It really puts off a certain...

Found a rare Dean 10-string! But look at this rout job!

Add a pickguard homie! Make it look like a stingray style or something. All kinds of cool things you can do to cover that up. Crap get a luthier to make you a cool contrasting wooden pickguard!

Other fun instrument to play, except bass?

Banjo only has 5 strings. :bassist:

Double Bass Slap Happy Steel Core Weed Wackers First Impressions

Yeah, I do have a Krivo mag on backup but I might as well sell it cuz I love the Deluxes, I really don't want to go back. I even talked to the Blast Cult guys about setting me up a bass with them and they kind of refused... not really, I don't wan't to be harsh, but they strongly recommended...

Yes but I'm a lazy person. I'm a horrible dog owner. Worse to my bass. I don't want to waste 300 bucks on an E string just to eff it up.

Double Bass Slap Happy Steel Core Weed Wackers First Impressions

Glancing back through, I was having pickup issues as well. I've settled on David Gauges answer to a full circle. I forget what it's called but it sandwiches between the star adjusters and the bridge wing, kind of like the full circle, where the piezo is built in to the adjuster and unlike the...

Double Bass Slap Happy Steel Core Weed Wackers First Impressions

It's been forever now but I've hated everything I've tried besides Superior Bassworks Deluxe strings. I'm using the middle 4 of the bump set but the E is floppy. He stopped selling the tricore version with a higher tension E so my next move is to go to the biggest string in the set for my E...

Double Bass Blast Cult Channel Blaster

They're using a new system now. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] I personally, can't wait to get my hands on one! Their customer support is top notch. Drop them a line and I'm sure they'd be happy to answer any questions.

Carvin or Warwick - your opinion please.

No interest in a used Pedulla? That's always my first thought in the 5 string fretless world. I like the Ibanez GWB's too, but it sounds like that's not a consideration.

    Fender P 63 reissue or Fender 1977 P

All other things being equal... ie, playability and tone to my liking, I'd go with the 77 just on principal. Let us know what you decide!

What's your most versatile bass? (Include Pics!)

Surprised I'm not seeing any Stingrays on here. I know it's kind of signature, but definitely a very versatile instrument. If I could afford a real one, I'd have it but I've sold off all my higher end gear. I have an old Music Man Sub 5 though. Great bass. No pics because I'm at work. You...

Really can't decide - Warwick Corvette std.

I dunno about that price, but Warwicks are my favorite bass. The precision with which you can set them up to your specs is just fantastic. With that adjustable nut, you can really dial in your action and intonation. The just feel sooooooo good and sound amazing and play good and.... oh good...
