Massive hum from old Jazz on one odd amp???

I've got this old 04 Affinity Jazz, bone stock electronics. I looked under the pick guard, and its basic cheap, though with large Pots. It plays and sounds just fine through my other amps. When I pair it with the 20 year old Hog 30 it hums like crazy, it can be mitigated about 60% by flipping...

    School Me on Bench Grinders

Ted Woodfords got a ‘60 P on his bench

Yup, Leo did not make basses for collectors, he made tools for working musicians. It was not until Fender opened up the custom shop and started making limited runs of contrived collectables specifically for collectors with more money than sense.

My Fender Hard Case is coming apart(FIX?)

Hot glue should work, though I have never used it on anything that I wanted to glue permanently, it peels away from smooth surfaces very easily.

My Fender Hard Case is coming apart(FIX?)

Looks like it was originally glued with a few dabs of something like a caulk. Contact cement or rubber cement would likely eat big cavities into the Styrofoam form. I would use construction adhesive "Liquid Nails" or similar without the volatile compounds that can melt the foam.
