I've Been a Peavey And Randall Player for 25 years... the latest was the Tour 700... Finally pulled the trigger on PF500.... ready to tour without the xtra 20+lb bass amps. Ampeg has always been a solid Amp company... looking forward to the new relationship with Ampeg.

I've been a Peavey Player for 25 years.... Tour 700 Being the latest. But, I am ready to move on. No more 20lbs+ for me. I'm torn... My Cab is a GK mbe 410. I'm leaning towards the Ampeg for tone preferences and the on board compressor but the Carvin has more eq possibilities and a tube pre amp...

In 1987 I bought my first new pro bass cab. Peavey's 3620 rock solid cab.(400w 4ohms) A huge cabinet in size and sound. This cab weighed over 100lbs. In 2008 I physically cut the cabinet in half and replaced screen with diamond cut aluminum grill. So it is now a 1820 cab. Original Black Widow...
