    Help with a guitar ID

Strat Talk is really friendly and helpful. TDPRI is excellent and is mainly a telecaster forum. Very knowledgeable folks there.

    beginner song suggestions,??

I apologize in advance to OP for any hijack, but can you clarify if this book shows the bass clef? I assume it's written for piano and has both? Thank you!

    What should I do?

You might take a look at the Squire Jaguar basses if you can find one. I have a short scale Vintage Modified Jaguar with an upgraded bridge and pickups (PJ configuration). I got it used and upgraded it with the parts I wanted. I have a couple more expensive basses, but the Jag certainly holds...

Yes. I tried one at a music store. Definitely a great bass!

    NGD! AKG K240 Headphones

Thank You. Basically it sounds like the farting out. Too much bass for the little speakers in my current headphones to handle even at lower volume.

    NGD! AKG K240 Headphones

I know this is an old thread, but I'm wondering if anyone can comment on how well these work for practicing. I have an old pair of Audio Tronics ATH-M30s and a pair of Scarlett HP60 mkii that came with my Scarlett Studio interface. Both of these sound poor to me for practicing, both through...

Tapping your foot while playing - Please Stop?

Which Shirt Scale Bass Should I Get???

I love my Squier Jaguar Short Scale PJ. It is upgraded with SD Quarter Pounders and a Badass Bridge. It is light and well balanced, super fun to play, and it booms! Only thing is the neck/string spacing is a bit narrow, but not too hard to get used to. Years back I had an Epiphone Viola...

Can I be 508? Love all that music. Born in '65 and I feel it in my DNA.

    J.C. Superstar

I am a child of the 70's (born in 65), so to me it really had the 70's vibe I remember. I'm fairly new to theater, but have seen maybe 5 or 6 Broadway shows that were on tour, including ALW's Cats. Anyway, unlike other shows, the "band" was not in the orchestra pit in Superstar. The stage had...

    J.C. Superstar

I went to see the musical Jesus Christ Superstar last Sunday. For those who don't know, it's a rock opera. All I can say is OMG (no pun intended), the music is fantastic, and VERY bass driven! My parents had the album when I was a kid, but, of course, I thought it was lame. Boy was I wrong...
