Thanks! Obviously raising the saddles has raised the strings higher so naturally will need to raise the mute as well

Thanks I have raised the action of all the strings to suit my preference. but now when I engage the mute its useless as the strings are higher and not catching it. Is this normal ? Will I have to remove the bridge and raise the mute slightly ? thanks

never played a Precision with the covers , do they get in the way or is it ok ?

damn haha wish id thought of that. Im paranoid Ive put the mute back on wrong but it seems alright maybe not quite as muted on the high b and e but probably wont use it that much. As anybody else found an issue with the low E coming off the saddle when you strum chords ?

Picked up a VIntera III Fender VI yesterday in part exchange for my old Squier VI . Annoying how you have to take the strings, bridge and mute off to take the film of the pickguard off but apart from that no complaints so far

I spotted this bass on the Montreal dvd and assumed it was his fretted BoD re-finished

If people dont make new things then nothing new would be invented so he put a lot of effort into it and it must have taken ages to make . Quite a few bass guitars in the past must not have got past the production stage either

Interesting what some people are saying about 'not getting on with Fenders' I have a MiJ Fender and I'd rather play my VIntage JAzz you can tell the build quality isn't as good but it just sounds better. really weird. Almost feel guilty for not liking the fender as much

When I tap on my Epiphone EB 0 pick up when its turned on through an amp I get like a metalliic clanking noise ? if this normal or if not how do I make it go away?
