I use Chromes on my Corvette $$ 5er, and I didn't file a thing. I just removed the blue silk, and it sits just fine.

I have to correct one thing: LaBella 6 strings set is actually .043-.060-.070-.094-.115-.135

Broadneck 5ers and 6ers come with 20mm-wide string spacing.

I'm not a roundwound fan, so the only WW I've ever used are the EMPs, essentially coated Black Label. They last a lot.
