I recently picked up a DB Bass Embee 210 and I couldn't be happier. The volume this thing chucks out is incredible given its size.

That's really cool. I got 95% for enthusiasm, 99% for musical perception, 82% for emotional connection, 86% for social creativity and 98% for musical curiosity. No idea what any of that means! :p

I play bass in a band covering Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree songs, including some of their longer compositions! :bassist: A P with flats is perfect for what we do, but I'm saving up for a Rickenbacker. That would be a great excuse to introduce some Rush to our setlist! ;)

I love Nick Mason's playing- so laid back but always perfect for the part. His drumming on Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii is exceptional. It's a shame he doesn't get the recognition he deserves! :)

I have a Hutchins telecaster style bass. It's solidly made, although it does suffer from neck dive due to the body shape. I reckon that Prince probably wouldn't have this problem though. Mine isn't a bass I'd use every day- my P copy just feels better to play imo- but it's still good fun and it...

I'm having this problem too. They look like great basses but they aren't sold anywhere in Britain. If you just go to the checkout and fill in which country you'd like it shipped to, it will tell you how much shipping costs. For the UK it quoted me $82.38 (about £51) for shipping on a $110 bass...

I'm a bassist really, although I actually play drums in a band, but not bass. Not sure how that one works out. :confused: I also dabble with acoustic guitar, although barre chords are beyond me at the moment!

Hutchins make some fine looking basses. :)
