Favorite Drummers

Neil Peart, surprised it took this long to mention him lol

Bruford

Portnoy

Andy Edwards

Gavin Harrison

I am sure I could think of a few more but these are the ones that jump out at me right now

I can't believe it took 11 posts before Peart was mentioned :D I love Bruford too, especially the albums with Jeff Berlin "Feels Good To Me" and "Gradually Going Tornado".

John Bonham - Led Zeppelin
Chad Smith - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jason McGerr - Death Cab For Cutie
Steve Gorman - Black Crowes
Chris Thatcher - Streetlight Manifesto

I respectable 17 posts before Stewart Copeland gets a mention. One of my favorites for sure.

Kris Meyers (Umphrey's McGee) is good.

I like Horatio El Negro Hernandez too.

Oh, man, how could I forget Manu Katché? Saw him twice on the 1986 Peter Gabriel So tour, and he blew my mind. Fabulously talented drummer, great blend of chops and a very organic feel.
