    Fender Player Meteora Bass

Glad you’re on it. Knowing me, my batteries would die onstage and I don’t have a tech to rescue me. :)

    Fender Player Meteora Bass

Sure. I’ve never had a problem with a bass that is always supposed to be active. Originally, Fender just wasn’t clear enough about this and I wanted a bass that was usable in passive and active because I was worried about batteries running out.

I dunno. The test was very interesting but the cut seemed to take too much from the signal while the boost added too much. Maybe it was how you set the knobs, but the bass really seemed to need some balance. Somewhere in between the cut and the boost may be the best path, if that is possible...

It’s touch-sensitive and real simple to use. And if you ever want to take a deeper dive into modern metal tones...

    Proposal: Fender Mod/Custom Club

Hello, So what do you think? I recently acquired a Fender Mod P and would like to show it off. For me, the question is whether Mod and Custom deserve different clubs.

    Fender Player Meteora Bass

Just got a promo email from Fender and now they are talking about the “Active Meteora Bass” instead of the “Meteora Bass.” Guess the complaints about the lack of passive tone control are having an impact on them.

    Walrus Audio Badwater Bass Preamp

The overdrive is pretty rad sounding. I tend towards a warmer Stax/Volt tone but I like the Badwater's harder-they-come attack.
