    Where do we bassists work?

Well, when I dropped out of school I worked at a small high-end stationery manufacturer (arts and crafts for adults, basically). I mostly ran a small 1 color digital press and an old A.B. Dick press, printing return addresses on envelopes. I hated it, but it paid well. And then I got laid off...

    Guitar Fetish Pickups

Thanks. I think I might just try em just to see... what's 30 bucks? And I'll probably go for a hipshot bridge... i'm too paranoid about workmanship on those, I think.

    file saddels prices

The shop I go to did it for free when I took my bass in for some other work... if you have a good working relationship with a shop, they will do more for you, for less, as a repeat customer. Find a good shop with a good tech, your life will be much easier. Avoid the big boxes... make friends...

Why did you start playing bass?

It chose me... I was in my basement, hanging out with my older brother and a friend of ours. My brother started busting out some riffs on guitar, our friend grabbed some sticks... and my bro told me to grab his old bass. I was hooked. And even though I'm not that great, I'm thankful that old...
