I can't speak for your bass, but I am positive about the Sb's electronics. You either get the active/passive electronics with passive tone controls, or you get the mid sweep option.- TrebleFreeZone

Only if you have the preamp that comes standard on the instrument, or get strictly passive electronics. If you opt for the mid sweep control, you lose the active/passive function.- TrebleFreeZone

Who hear finds a 5stringer easier to play than a 4?
I find it easier to pluck faster on a 5er. The low B catches my fingers as I'm playing the E string.- TrebleFreeZone
