Carvin SB5000 / SB4000 Roll Call...Part 8!

Brian Bromberg has a thread up on the carvinbbs in the basses section asking for suggestions for his model. He made a list of his suggestions to guage interest, including a 6 string version, bolt on version, split P option, traditional jazz pick up option, MM pickup option, and a pick guard option. I'm not into the aesthetic of that model, but you couldn't ask for more options than that, even if they only decide to add half of them.

No, but Carvin has come out with two new models (both available as 6 strings). :)
Thx Freddels, checking the Carvin site I found only the VANQUISH bass comes in a 6 string model and with a tight 16.25mm string spacing it's not for me. Kinda strange going from a 19mm 5 to a 16.25mm on the 6, I can see 18mm but less than 17mm that's tight is you are a slapper. IMO

I'm not a lefty, but if I was, holy crap. Look at this beautiful hunk o' bass! The best part is the sale price. It's an SB5001, marked down from $1769 to $1069!!!!

When switching from active to passive, is anyone else getting the popping noise from the push/pull pot? My batteries are new and I don't remember this happening in the past. Maybe on eof the batteries is bad.
