    Sire V7 new neck pickup

I saw an existing thread on this topic but no one answered the op’s question. At NAMM 2025 Sire introduced upgraded Z 7’s with chunkier MM style neck pickups instead of the Jazz style that many say are quiet and thin sounding. The pole pieces are chunky and match the bridge. Has anyone...

    Sire M7 Club

Looks like the new Sire M’s are trickling in to Sweetwater. I noticed new M5’s several days ago. Now they have alder body M7 5 strings with battery doors.

    sire M7 gig worthy?

Since I haven’t played one and none of my local guitar stores have them in stock Im concerned mostly with things like ergonomics, how it sounds in a live mix, quality of the B string. Stuff like that. Im not thrilled buying basses online without playing them first but that’s how things have evolved.

    sire M7 gig worthy?

Does anyone gig with a Sire M7? I gig about once a month. I’m looking for a versatile 5 string that is dependable. I like the 18mm string spacing at the bridge. Ash body with maple top, ebony fretboard, and carbon fiber neck rods. Sire gets high marks for build quality but does anyone have...

    G&L Tribute L2500 Ash Top

Was there a QC problem with the L2500 or do you just prefer the sound of the JB? How was the low B on the L2500?

    G&L Tribute L2500 Ash Top

How is the definition on the low E? There are several comments on TB threads stating that poplar bodies result in muddy undefined low end.

    G&L Tribute L2500 Ash Top

Is the “ash top” on the G&L tribute L2500,sunburst with rosewood fretboard, a thin veneer? Or is there some meat to it? Has anyone played one of these?

How do you like the original 60’s neck? It’s 1 3/4 at the nut right?

No case no C of A would you buy?

I don't collect basses I play them. But I like buying new ones every couple of years and selling the old ones. So I don't end up with a heard of basses I'm not playing. It's not an investment or a desire for increased value at the time of resale. If you found 1 bass that you will play...

No case no C of A would you buy?

Can't be a squier body because of the contoured neck heel and 5 bolt design. Plus all the hardware and electronics are genuine Fender.
